Paolo Guerrero has many friends in international football, one of them being Juan Pablo Sorín, the former Argentine defender who applauded his participation in the World Cup.

"He is the leader of Peru and deserved to be in the World Cup. It would have been unfair not to see him in Russia," said 'Juanpi' Sorín. Not to mention the Argentine media and especially the Argentine journalist Martín Liberman, who pointed out on his social networks.

"I celebrate with the Peruvian people and their national team that the great Paolo Guerrero can play in the World Cup. Go Peru! Justice," he wrote on Twitter.
