A small update arrived on mobile phones these days for the YouTube application. The most remarkable change has been the new minimized video bar. If you remember how it was in the past, it used to play in the bottom right corner, now it takes up the entire bottom.
If we press the button in the upper left corner of the video that is playing, we will enter navigation mode and the playback will go to the background. A bar will be created where we will find the video in question and two buttons: mute and pause.
To close the playback, two functions have been enabled, the first is clearly marked with a cross (X). On the other hand, YouTube has enabled a hidden gesture, we can press the entire bar and drag it down, thus the playback will disappear.
Although Google has been working to improve its gestures for application control, this latest update is not entirely user-friendly. To remove the bar in question, a lot of precision is needed since the user's touch is usually slightly off.
Remember that the gesture of dragging the minimized video to the right to delete it has been removed. YouTube will continue to work on further exploration improvements for its mobile application.
