ISIS Threatens Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo Ahead of World Cup
Less than a month before the start of the World Cup, security for the tournament is once again in the spotlight. The terrorist group ISIS has issued another warning towards the Russia 2018 World Cup. This time, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the current biggest stars in soccer, appear 'decapitated' in a horrifying image that has been circulating on social media.
The chilling image, spread on Telegram by ISIS groups, as reported by Daily Mail, shows the Argentine and the Portuguese players being decapitated during a game, next to the pitch and in a stadium packed with fans. Additionally, there is a message that says: "The ground will be covered in their blood."

But that's not all. In the image, you can see the logo of the World Cup destroyed. And furthermore, there is a second image that ends with another warning: "Victory will be ours."

Let's remember that this is not the first time that the Islamic State has issued a threat to the World Cup, with Messi being one of the main targets. The Barcelona star had already been featured in a post back in March of this year, where he appears on his knees on a playing field.
Messi had already been warned in March.
These threats against Messi and Cristiano come after the terrorist group also warned of an attack in Kiev during the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
They have also threatened to attack during the Champions League final.
