Paolo Guerrero
Paolo Guerrero has the best lawyer to defend him. His mother, Doña Peta, spoke on Radio Caracol in Colombia and said she maintains hopes of seeing the captain in the Peruvian National Team at the 2018 World Cup.
"Please see my son's case well. I hope he plays in the World Cup, I believe in God's justice. He is innocent of everything," said the striker's mother, very saddened.

"Paolo has played since he was very young. He didn't have childhood, youth, or adolescence. He didn't have anything because he was born to play football. You can't give that punishment to a footballer because it's his career. He has children, he has a mother to support," she added.
Doña Peta was asked about the accusation she made against Claudio Pizarro and this was her response: "That is in the background. I have to look out for my son. Sometimes, out of anger, we say many things but that has nothing to do with it. There is a God and God knows everything and he will give us justice."
Paolo Guerrero's mother thanked Ricardo Gareca for his words about her son. "I thank him because he knows that my son is a professional player, completely. That's why the whole Peruvian people love him," she said.
