The poor results and low production in the Summer Tournament and the Cup made the administration of Alianza Lima make the decision. After a friendly conversation with Maximiliano Lemos, both parties reached an agreement to terminate his contract.
'Maxi' did not fit in the team. His dedication and commitment are not in question, but as reinforcement, in a position where Alianza has players, he did not make a difference. That's why he will only stay until June 30. The same will happen with Gabriel Leyes.

The administration of Alianza Lima has already talked to both players and reached an agreement to terminate their contract. The club will only pay them until that day of work. However, if Pablo Bengoechea wants, he can make them play the first six Apertura matches.
Maximiliano Lemos played 12 matches this season with Lima in both the Summer Tournament and the Copa Libertadores. Seven were as a starter and he did not score any goals. On the other hand, Gabriel Leyes played 10 games, five from the start. Despite being a forward, he did not score this year.
The administration continues working on the search for reinforcements for when the transfer window reopens on August 1. Alianza Lima's priority is a '9'.
