Sir Alex Ferguson
Sir Alex Ferguson always eats, lunches, dines, and sleeps thinking about football. This was demonstrated by the former Manchester United coach when he woke up from a coma, after a brain hemorrhage, by asking about football. Therefore, his relatives should not have been surprised to hear his first words after waking up from the induced coma.
According to the English newspaper The Sun, Fergunson wasted no time in asking about football after showing his first signs of recovery. "How did Doncaster do?", asked the 76-year-old former coach. This is because Doncaster Rovers, a club in the third division, is managed by his son Darren Ferguson. Sir Alex had been transferred to the hospital hours before Doncaster played against Wigan.
The club managed by Ferguson's son shared a message on social media: "Sir Alex's first words after his surgery were asking about the Doncaster's result. Our coaching staff and fans' first words after the game were asking about the surgery's outcome", they told.
