Oswaldo Alanís signs his contract as the new player of Getafe in Spain, confirmed the president of the Madrid club, Ángel Torres, to Radio Marca de España.
The executive also confirmed that the former Chivas defender has already signed his contract and passed the medical examination since last week.
"Yes, Alanís is one of the players who will play for Getafe. He was with us last week and now he has gone on vacation," said Torres.
Although the Mexican, who emerged from the Tecos academy, is one of the signings requested by the team's coach, he could miss the Europa League qualifying phase due to his participation in the World Cup in Russia, if considered by Juan Carlos Osorio.
"The coach has asked us for five or six reinforcements and we are working on that. Alanís is one of those who would go to the World Cup, so if we qualify for the Europa League, it would be difficult for him to be in the pre-match of this competition," said the executive.
