Alliance Lima falls to Palmeiras in Copa Libertadores
Alliance Lima lost 3-1 to Palmeiras from Brazil in a match for the fifth round of Group H of the 2018 Copa Libertadores, played at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium (Matute). Memes flooded Facebook.
The goals of the victory for 'Verdao', already qualified for the round of 16, were scored by Willian at 19 minutes, Hyoran at 32 and Colombian Miguel Borja at 67. Alliance Lima scored a penalty goal by Rinaldo Cruzado at 72.

With this resounding victory, Palmeiras reached 13 points, 6 more than the Colombian Junior, who they will face in the sixth and final round. Boca Juniors, with 6 points, will host the already eliminated Alliance Lima, who only managed to get 1 point.
