Antonio Gonzales Wants to Talk

Former captain of Universitario de Deportes, Antonio Gonzales, regrets the tournament played by his former team, who he holds dear in his heart. 'Toñito' believes that the young players of the Creams should have had an experienced base around them to make them feel more secure, because the locker room in Ate is something special.

Troglio is a good coach, he had all the will to lift the team but he lacked the ability to handle the group. I have always said that in Universitario there must be a solid base. Five or six experienced players to face the consequences when results don't go well. They should always speak up. said Antonio Gonzales, who assured that the presence of José Carranza would have been vital because he was the last standard-bearer of the institution.

The current midfielder of Sport Rosario has faith that one day he will return with the group of players competing in the tournament with Canalla de Huaraz. He also talked about the incident with Pablo Bengoechea at Matute.

I couldn't hide my love for Universitario de Deportes. I greeted coach Bengoechea during halftime because I had him in the National Team. I have known him and Aguirregaray for a long time. Besides, he is an older person who deserves my respect and admiration,
