Facebook Expands its Market with the Oculus Go
Facebook is expanding its market on the internet. Mark Zuckerberg has announced the launch of the Oculus Go glasses in 23 countries for $199, a price at which "many people will experience virtual reality and virtual presence for the first time".
The news was announced by Facebook's CEO at the Facebook developer conference, known as F8. Zuckerberg received applause when he announced that all attendees (5000 people) would receive the product for free, which contains a thousand applications and has the highest quality lenses installed by Oculus in a device so far.
Zuckerberg took advantage of the presentation of the "Watch Party" to make fun of himself amidst the investigations for having provided unauthorized access of about 87 million users to a political consultant, reported the EFE agency.
"Let's say your friend is testifying in Congress: you can gather your friends and you can laugh or cry together. Some of my friends did it, but I hope it doesn't happen again soon", he joked, showing that option to watch videos in a group.
