Feirense Defeats Vitoria de Setúbal
With Mexican defender Antonio Briseño playing the entire 90 minutes, Feirense won as a visitor against Vitoria de Setúbal with a score of 2-0 and is close to securing its place in the Primeira Liga of Portugal.
Both goals for this important victory by Feirense were scored by Joao Silva at the 63rd and 87th minutes of the match.
With this result, Briseño's team moves out of the relegation zone with 30 points and sits in 14th place, leaving Vitoria de Setúbal in a very compromising position, as they have 28 points and sit in 16th place, on the edge of relegation.
'Pollo' Briseño, a product of Atlas de Guadalajara, once again showed that he has the level to be a starter with the Feirense team, contributing defensively for the entire 90 minutes and receiving a yellow card at the 79th minute.
The next challenge for Feirense to maintain their category will not be easy, as they will visit the Do Dragao Stadium on Sunday, May 6th to face Porto, the current leader of the league and home to Mexicans Héctor Herrera, Diego Reyes, and Jesús Manuel Corona.
