A Universal Phrase
A common and universal phrase we hear: "The fingers on the hands are more than the friends we have". We disagree with it because when we encounter people in daily living with a high degree of consideration, admirable behavior, responsible in all their activities, and ready to integrate an exemplary friendship in normal and adverse situations, there a friend becomes present and lasts a lifetime.
Today we want to remember unconditional friends, whose souls rest on high. Unforgettable in the field of sports, such as Miguel Roque Salcedo, Víctor Zeballos, Rómulo Viteri, Alberto Spencer, Jorge Bolaños, Chompi Henríquez, Tano Spandre, Juan Moscol, Sigifredo Chuchuca, Pajarito Cantos, 20 mil Solórzano, Alejandro Arroyo, Isabel León, Tnte. Sandoval, Jaime Muñoz, Elías Jácome, Christian Benítez, Carlos Raffo, Fausto Montalván, Abel Jiménez, Chato Mejía, José Yagual and Elmo Cura Suárez.
And in the field of education in Vicente Rocafuerte, Teobaldo Constante, Augusto Solórzano, Manuel Mite Pezo, Agustín Freire Potes, Alberto Riera, Manuel Mestanza, Eduardo Moncayo, Fortunato Muñoz, Carlos Barrezueta, Jaime Roldós, Carlos Montenegro, Gustavo Maridueña, Jorge Falconí, Eduardo Cotrina... who, with their sincere friendship, illuminated the concept of a friend, just like Carlos Pérez Perasso, Ricardo Pólit, and Manuel Mestanza P. did in journalism.
Days ago, the Creator lifted his gaze and called upon Bolívar Moyano, an eminent professor of classrooms who with his upright and wise teachings and with a prominent style, educated and formed thousands of students who today are governed by his convincing and imparted rules when his oratory shone in his class hours.
To Alfredo Enderica, a master in the field of architecture and in art as a musicologist, immersed even in his last breath in definitions consistent with his intellectualism; so tenacious in his time as a professor and in the public positions he held. Teachers and colleagues in the profession will continue to distinguish him.
