EA Sports in legal trouble with Maradona over FIFA 18
A mistake could cost EA Sports millions of dollars. Diego Armando Maradona, one of the most iconic soccer players in the world, has initiated legal actions against FIFA 18 for an image that has gone viral on social media.
This wouldn't be the first time Maradona threatens a video game company. Last year, he had a conflict with Konami for using his image in PES 2017. In the end, everything ended well with a juicy compensation for the soccer player.
What happened now? It turns out that in a match between Juventus and Napoli, a team for which "the hand of God" played for a while, in FIFA 18, fans can be seen waving a banner with Maradona's face that says "I love Juventus":

According to an Italian media, Maradona has commented that he has already notified his lawyers to investigate the matter, stating that the responsible parties "would pay for it". "There are mistakes that cannot be made. You can't have that in a game that is played by so many people," he emphasized to the Italian media.
