Federation Approval for the Gran Prix Comarca
The Durango Swimming Association has received approval from the Mexican Federation to hold the Gran Prix Comarca at Jerusalem College on May 5th and 6th.
This competition will be open to all local and foreign teams affiliated with the Mexican Federation, as announced by Eduardo Balderas, coach of the IMSS Titans team.
The venue for this event is located at University Sol de Oriente Avenue, in a covered 25-meter pool with 10 lanes.
The categories are based on the competitor's age at the beginning of the competition.
Each participant will be awarded individual points up to the eighth position.
Participation medals will be given to competitors aged 10 and under, and trophies will be awarded to the top three positions in all categories.
The registration fee per swimmer is 250 pesos and the deadline is May 2nd. Registration should be done through Jorge Pérez via email at [email protected].
It is essential that the registration forms have the approval of their association.
The competition format will be timed finals, following the technical and competition regulations designated by the organizing committee.
Protests will be presented by the team coach to the referee judge within 30 minutes of the event being published, accompanied by a fee of 500 pesos. The pre-meeting will take place at the end of the last warm-up.
The following events will take place: For 8 and under, 25m butterfly, 25m backstroke, 25m breaststroke, 25m freestyle, 50m freestyle, 100m individual medley.
For 9-10 years old: 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 100m individual medley. For 11 and over: 100m butterfly, 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 100m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 200m breaststroke, 200m individual medley.
