Once the season practically ended for Chivas, Mexican defender Oswaldo Alanís is preparing to leave soon for Spain to negotiate his contract with Getafe of Spain.
The player from Rebaño Sagrado, whose contract with the team ends this season, was one of the players that Getafe followed closely, so now they will focus on signing him for the next season.
As far as is known, Alanís will travel with his agent, the Italian Caleca Manfredi, who will take him to Spain to finalize the details and, if necessary, sign the contract that will fulfill the dream of the red-and-white footballer in European lands.
As you may recall, Oswaldo Alanís is one of the cases that caused the most controversy with Chivas and the issue of the Gentlemen's Agreement. Because he did not want to sign a supposedly advantageous contract extension, the player was relegated to the Second Division team. However, due to the pressure against the leadership of Chivas, headed by José Luis Higuera, he returned to the spotlight and has played regularly in the first team.
