The Argentine midfielder of Sevilla, Éver Banega, acknowledged that his team does not reach the final of the Copa del Rey against Barcelona in a good state of form, but he affirmed that "the team is mentally prepared" and that "anything can happen in a single match".
Sevilla is concentrated in Marbella and one of their strongholds, Éver Banega, appeared before the club's official media to make it clear that concentration "is good for team building" and will be an important factor for the match.
The Argentine explained that the key is to "be intense in all lines" as well as to "be concentrated for the full ninety minutes" in order to have options, although he affirmed that "the team is prepared to play a great match".
The Argentine emphasized the importance of victory not only for winning a new title, but because winning implies "getting into Europe".
"The Sevilla season has been irregular in the league," acknowledged the midfielder, who sees a cause in the fixture congestion, as it is what "comes with playing three major competitions until the final stages".
Banega already played a Copa del Rey final against Barcelona in 2016 during his first spell as a Sevilla player, but it was not a pleasant memory, as Sevilla lost two to zero and the Argentine was sent off.
