Goodbye after 22 seasons
22 seasons didn't pass in vain, although with Arsene Wenger, time was very generous. The still coach of Arsenal arrived at the 'Gunners' bench in September of 1996, and he will stay there until the end of this season, after announcing the end of his stay in London.
Wear and tear is inevitable, both in his technical experience and his relationship with the fans, the institution, the players, and of course physical wear and tear. After a whole life with the same colors on, it's not so difficult to see how his evolution has been. In fact, the club itself prepared an assembly where Wenger's change can be seen.

"After careful consideration and after several conversations with the club, I feel that it is the right time to retire at the end of the season," Wenger said in a statement published by Arsenal on its website.
Wenger, 68, has won three Premier League editions with Arsenal, including a season in which he was champion undefeated, in the 2003-04 season with the team known as 'The Invincibles', and seven FA Cups.
However, the last few years have been more complicated. The team won the Premier League for the last time 14 seasons ago and this season is close to being out of the Champions League for the second consecutive time.
