Latest Tuesday, Ezequiel Lavezzi's name was involved in a scandal on Twitter for allegedly mocking Arturo Vidal's injury at Bayern Munich. However, the Argentine crack has not taken long to clarify that he was not responsible for the publications.
"I want to clarify that this tweet was not written by me and was not sent from my account, it was edited by a Twitter account that makes parodies. I'm very sorry about what happened, I would never make a comment like this to a colleague. Greetings," said 'Pocho' to all his followers.
It was these same people who were surprised by Lavezzi's "publications" about Arturo Vidal. "Uh, what a mess. Does he reach Russia?" allegedly wrote the Argentine in reference to Chile's non-qualification for the 2018 World Cup. Luckily for him, everything was clarified.
It is worth remembering that, after surgery on his right knee, Arturo Vidal will be out for the rest of the season, which is a tough blow for Bayern Munich, one week away from facing Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals.
The 30-year-old Chilean midfielder injured himself last Sunday morning during a training session. "He slipped and twisted his knee," explained his coach Jupp Heynckes.
