Mexican Girl to Accompany Tri Players in Russia 2018 World Cup
As in every World Cup edition since the Korea Japan 2002 World Cup, McDonald's has selected a Mexican child to travel to the most important soccer tournament and be close to the Mexican national team players.
Megan Huesca, a nine-year-old girl from Mexico City, will travel to the World Cup in Russia, where she will be accompanied by a Tri player before their opening match against the champion Germany on June 17th at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
Megan was selected in a camp organized by the fast food company and Glorias del Deporte, in which approximately 80 children from different associations participated. They demonstrated their creativity and skills and were evaluated at the end of the day by a committee that included former World Cup player Francisco "Kikín" Fonseca.
