The Mónaco has decided to refund its followers the price of the tickets for the match against PSG after the resounding victory of the Parisians (7-1), who obtained the seventh league title in their history.
The team highlighted on its Twitter account that it will detail how to obtain the refund throughout the week.
The PSG added the success of this campaign to those achieved in 1985-86, 1993-94, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16. Seven trophies, five since 2011 when a Qatari sovereign fund took over the club, which reflect their absolutism in France.
"Le Parisien" newspaper recalled that it is the first time since 1974 that Mónaco loses by a six-point difference in the championship.
"The only ones who lived up to it were our fans, and I thank them for it. They pushed the team, but we couldn't do anything. From the next match onwards, we will do everything to make them proud," said Vadim Vasilyev, vice president of Mónaco, on Twitter.
