Diamondbacks right-hander Taijuan Walker left his start against the Los Angeles Dodgers after the second inning on Saturday with right forearm tightness.

The severity of the injury is not known, but “forearm tightness” often is synonymous with elbow issues.

Walker was visited on the mound by a trainer in the second but remained in the game to finish the inning. His fastball velocity had dropped from the mid-90s in the first down to the low-90s in the second.

Walker was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the top of the third.

The Diamondbacks owned a 3-1 lead when reliever T.J. McFarland took the mound in the bottom of the third.
