The coach of West Ham, David Moyes would try to sign former Manchester United player, Shinji Kagawa, to team him up with the Mexican Javier Hernandez. The Japanese international could return to the Premier League after his unsuccessful spell at Old Trafford.
According to the German newspaper Bild, Kagawa, 29, would be one of West Ham's targets for the next season after the good level shown by the Asian player in his second spell with Borussia Dortmund. Shinji was transferred to Manchester United in 2012, a time when he coincided with Chicharito, but only lasted two years at the "Theatre of Dreams" and returned to Dortmund in 2014, the same year that Hernandez left the English club to sign with Real Madrid.
The Japanese midfielder has been able to recover his best version in the Bundesliga, which has aroused the interest of David Moyes and West Ham. However, they would not be the only club interested in Shinji's services, as Everton, from the Premier League, would also be considering the option of signing him.
In the current season, Shinji Kagawa has scored five goals in 18 matches and his current value, according to the Transfermarkt website, is 13 million euros.
