For the eleventh round of the Summer Tournament, Melgar and Binacional drew 2-2 in an attractive match played this Thursday at the Monumental stadium of the National University of San Agustín in Arequipa.
Paraguayan Víctor Ferreira opened the scoring just nine minutes into the game after receiving a great pass from his compatriot Milton Benítez.
Shortly before halftime, Bernando Cuesta leveled the score with a powerful shot from outside the area. Later, at 52’, Patricio Arce turned things around by perfectly finishing a counterattack.
Finally, again in the 57th minute, the Paraguayan duo of Binacional came together to seal the 2-2 draw, although this time it would be the number '10' who would beat Diego Penny.
With this result, Deportivo Binacional remains in fifth place in Group B with 15 points, while Melgar stays in third place with 18 points.
