The mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor has been charged with assault and criminal behavior, after attacking a bus with a dozen other fighters.
The incident took place on Thursday at the Barclays Center in New York, where the organizers of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) were gathered to promote the fights scheduled for this weekend.
In the images that have been shared on social media, McGregor and his accomplices can be seen throwing objects at the bus and causing a disturbance.
The UFC officials stated that two fighters were injured. Michael Chiesa received multiple cuts on his face and Ray Borg suffered an eye injury.

Artem Lobov, one of the attackers who accompanied McGregor's assault and was supposed to fight over the weekend, was removed from the card.
The Irish McGregor surrendered to the police on Thursday night and appeared in a criminal court in Brooklyn on Friday morning.
McGregor, 29, who was defeated by Floyd Mayweather in a highly publicized boxing match in August 2017, has not fought in the UFC since November 2016 and lost his lightweight title due to inactivity.
In a statement, the UFC said "the organization deems today's incident as completely unacceptable and is currently working on the consequences that will follow".
