Netflix hides a trick that very few people know in Internet browsers. If you're a "seriephile" and sometimes wonder how to increase the resolution of the streaming platform, this article can be very helpful.
Netflix allows you to watch content up to 4K (only some content has this feature) on Microsoft Edge, the only browser that allows it. On the other hand, Chrome and Firefox only allow you to watch content up to 720p, but there is a trick to increase this range to 1080p.
How to watch Netflix in 1080p with Chrome and Firefox
To do this trick, we have to use some third-party applications. In the case of Chrome, we must use Netflix 1080 or Super Netflix, both free applications available in the Chrome Web Store. With them, we can increase the quality of our series from 720p to 1080p.
In the case of Firefox, we must use the Force 1080p playback for Netflix. This application is based on the previously mentioned Netflix 1080, and we can install it on the add-ons tab of the browser.

It is worth noting that the Internet connection is very important to watch Netflix. A 4K or 1080p content will stop every now and then if your Internet is too slow, so keep this in mind before raising the quality of your favorite series.
