Ayacucho FC defeated UTC this Saturday in Huancayo in a postponed match from round 7 of the Summer Tournament. With this victory, the 'zorros' reached eleven points and are in third place in Group A.
Ayacucho FC debuted at home and did well. The 'zorros' were forced to play in Huancayo behind closed doors because the Huanta field was not enabled.
The team led by Duilio Cisneros dominated from the initial whistle and had 61% of ball possession. Mauricio Montes opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 41st minute and that's how they went into halftime.
UTC sought the equalizer in the final part of the match and found it. Jefferson Collazos scored with a header after an assist from Juan Pablo Vergara. It seemed like it would end in a draw, but in the end Víctor Rossel took advantage of a goalkeeper Goyoneche's mistake and put the score at 2-1.
UTC now has six matches without a victory: they lost three times and drew the other three. Franco Navarro will have a lot of work to do as they will host Universitario in Cajabamba next week.

PREVIEW
Ayacucho FC and UTC have not been able to play at home in their hometowns in the Summer Tournament and that has cost them: the 'zorros' are sixth in Group A and the 'Gavilan' last.
That's why Ayacucho FC and UTC have the obligation to win this Saturday in the postponed match from round 7. The Ayacucho team will play as the home team in Huancayo since the Huanta field is not enabled. It will be played behind closed doors.
"It always helps when you receive the support of your fans, but these are the conditions we have. It happened to us last week with San Martin in Lima and we also played behind closed doors. We were able to get a draw against one of the best teams, so now we hope to get a result that favors us, despite not having an audience," said Duilio Cisneros, coach of Ayacucho FC.
UTC has not won in the last 5 matches (2 losses and 3 draws) and they know it's time to recover. However, they drew against Alianza in the middle of the week and that gave them confidence. Let's see who bounces back.
