Liverpool forward, Egyptian Mohamed Salah, who scored four goals against Watford (5-0) on Saturday, is "on his way" to reaching the level of the five-time Ballon d'Or, Argentine Lionel Messi, said Reds coach Jurgen Klopp on Sunday.
"I think 'Mo' is on his way to becoming the best player in the world," said the German coach.
"I think neither 'Mo' nor anyone else wants to be compared to Lionel Messi. Because he does what he does, you could say, for the past 20 years. If you have talent, you have to constantly prove it," commented Klopp.
Against Watford, in an epic match, the 25-year-old Egyptian star scored four goals, taking him to the top of the Premier League's goalscorers with 27 goals.
In total, the former Roma player has scored 36 goals this season in all competitions, in his first year at Liverpool. AFP
