"It is the most beautiful thing that has happened to me in my life," says Raúl Ruidíaz after being part of the classification of the Peruvian National Team to the 2018 World Cup. But the forward explains that to get there there had to be changes and sacrifices.
"Discipline was a fundamental part. When we were concentrated, I would arrive from Mexico and would not see my family, I would go directly to concentrate. We accepted it. Discipline had a lot to do with all this," commented the 'Pulga' for the program The band del Chino de America TV.

In addition, Ruidíaz added that everyone in the Peruvian National Team had the same importance. "We were all equal. Guerrero, Corzo, Cueva, everyone. There was no one above the other."
The forward for Monarcas Morelia assured that he is preparing to be considered in the final list of Ricardo Gareca. "No one knows who will go. This is about being in a good moment. They are watching all the time. You have to do things right if you want to go to the World Cup."
To finish, he left a message to the fan of the Peruvian National Team: "We can only thank them. I was in this process and they never gave up, they never stopped supporting us. What we have achieved is thanks to them."
