NBA games for Thursday, March 15
Many basketball fans will be focused on the NCAA Tournament, but there are also nine NBA games happening tonight. With so many games, there are several exciting matchups to look forward to.
First, the Pacers will face the Raptors in a battle between two of the top three teams in the Eastern Conference. Then, an hour later, the Clippers will take on the Rockets in what could be a preview of a first-round playoff matchup. The Pelicans will also play the Spurs in a game with significant playoff implications. Finally, the Cavaliers will go head-to-head with the Trail Blazers to round out the night.

Clippers, Rockets square off with playoff implications
The Clippers and Rockets are both eager to win on Thursday, but for different reasons. The Clippers are fighting for a playoff spot and need as many wins as possible in the final weeks of the season. The Rockets have already secured a playoff spot, but they are competing with the Warriors for the best record in the Western Conference and the entire league. With high stakes and a fierce rivalry, this should be an entertaining game.

And-ones:
- New Orleans Pelicans owner Tom Benson died on Thursday after a month-long battle with the flu.
- Danny Ainge said Kyrie Irving may need knee surgery at some point, but should be healthy for the playoffs.
- Larry Nance Jr. (hamstring) will not play for the Cavaliers against the Trail Blazers. Ante Zizic will start in his place.
- Devin Booker may not play for the Suns vs. the Jazz due to an injured hand. He is officially listed as questionable.
