The Colombian U-17 Women's National Team defeats Brazil
The Colombian U-17 Women's National Team defeated their Brazilian counterparts by 1-0 on the fourth day of the South American Championship in San Juan, Argentina.
The only goal of the match was scored by Natalia Ramírez, who took advantage of a poor Brazilian defense at the seventh minute.
The 'tricolor' team came into the match after resting on the third day and winning their first two matches against the local team, Argentina, and Peru.
Similarly, Brazil faced the match against Colombia with a perfect record after defeating Ecuador, Argentina, and Peru. The 'carioca' team has already completed all the group stage matches and will rest on the final day.
With this victory, and pending the last match, Colombia took the first place from the Brazilian team. However, both teams have already secured their spot in the final round of the tournament.
