The UFC prioritizes the best fighters

The UFC is determined to have only the best mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters on its roster. That's why the company is usually very strict with fighters who don't perform as expected inside the octagon.

As happens from time to time, the UFC announced this week a list of fighters whose contracts will not be renewed. And some were quite surprised by the presence of Galore Bofando, a British fighter who seemed to have a promising future in the welterweight division (77 kilos).

Galore Bofando, also known as 'Paranormal', made his UFC debut with a brutal knockout of Charlie Ward. But last December he was knocked out by Chad Laprise, in what was his last appearance in the octagon. Check out this gallery for all the fighters who had the same fate.
