After 44 matchdays played in the 2017-2018 season of the National Professional Basketball League (LNBP), the eight teams that will compete for the title of the best basketball team in the country have been defined.
A total of 11 clubs started their quest to qualify for the Quarterfinals of the mentioned tournament on October 20, of which three would finish their participation on March 2, 2017 -this will be the last competition with that number of teams, as they will increase to 16 for the 2018-2019 season-.
Aguacateros Michoacan, C.B. Santos, Capitanes Ciudad de Mexico, Correcaminos UAT, Fuerza Regia -current champion-, Mineros Zacatecas, Soles Mexicali, and Toros Nuevo Laredo, are the teams that will take part in these LNBP playoffs.
From March 6 to 13, the first phase of the postseason stage will be developed; the Semifinals will take place from March 17 to 28, while the Final will be from April 1 to 13.
