Authorities in Colombia investigate threats against Deportivo Cali players

Colombian authorities are taking action and investigating the constant threats that the players of Deportivo Cali club receive. The hooligan group "Los Ultras" has "warned" the players with quite an intimidating phrase.

"Run or die," reads the message that was published through a banner.

This is due to the team's performance at the beginning of the Apertura Tournament.

In response, Colonel Henry Jiménez, Deputy Commander of the Metropolitan Police of Cali, promised to reinforce the city's security.

"We will strengthen security at the administrative and sports headquarters. We will also provide support for the players," said Jiménez.
