Son of a Professional Football Player
Normally for a son of a professional football player, their father's surname is extra pressure, although we know some cases of fathers and sons who have dedicated themselves professionally to football. But something that would be unheard of is for the son of a FC Barcelona legend to end up playing with the Real Madrid jersey. This could be the case of Justin Kluivert, son of the legendary FC Barcelona forward, Patrick Kluivert.
At 18 years old, the young Dutchman is one of the most promising football talents in Europe. He is already established in the Ajax starting eleven, with whom he has played 25 matches this season leaving a great impression. In the current campaign, he has scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists as a winger on the left or right side.
Justin acknowledged in an interview that FC Barcelona, the club for which his father played between 1998 and 2004, will always be in his heart, but if an offer came from Real Madrid, he wouldn't be able to reject it: "Barcelona is in my heart, but who am I to say no to Real Madrid? I am attracted to the Premier League. Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, or United are desirable teams where I see myself playing in the future", he stated.
The young player is tempted by the Premier League, where he sees himself playing in the near future, and he is clear that his father will not intervene in his sporting decisions: "Agents offer possibilities, but I am the one who makes my own decisions. My father does not interfere, he knows I don't want that".
