SmackDown Live this week has modified the Fastlane 2018 card, which will take place on March 11 and will feature AJ Styles putting his WWE world title on the line.
At the start of the show, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler would face off to determine the fourth participant in the WWE title match at Fastlane, which already had AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens confirmed.
However, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens joined forces to attack both wrestlers. That is why Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon resorted to a plan B: Baron Corbin would face Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler would face Sami Zayn.
The curious thing is that, since Baron Corbin and Sami Zayn won their respective matches, the WWE world title will be on the line at Fastlane in a five-way match.
