Enrique Ríos designated as the new director of the Conadeip East Zone
Thanks to his outstanding work at the head of the sports department of the Interamerican University of Puebla, Enrique Ríos was designated as the new director of the East Zone of Conadeip, a position he will assume until 2019 with the challenge of promoting and strengthening the work of the institutions and the student-athletes under his care in this area.
"It is an institutional commitment, I feel that it is a reflection of the work that is being done at the Interamerican University, they know that we have grown in sports, that we have been doing things well, that we have ventured to organize national championships, that we have next year national youth championships in the East Zone, which includes Puebla, Tlaxcala, Hidalgo, Veracruz and Oaxaca. Undoubtedly, it is a great responsibility to assume a commitment of this category, it is the second most populated zone in the country, with 32 institutions, the commitment is to grow towards the youth areas."
He indicated that one of his first events as a leader will be the National Congress of Conadeip, which for this year, will have the University of the Americas as its venue, where they will seek to obtain the highest number of events for the institutions that make up the group he now represents.
"Puebla is the venue with the University of the Americas, in the first week of June, where all the 2018 and 2019 national championships will be assigned. We already have a very big national event in store, from April 5th to 8th, the Ocho Grandes de Beisbol, will be held at the Tecnológico de Monterrey Puebla. It is the only national event for the year, but we will seek more assignments, considering that Puebla will be the venue for the national youth championships."
