Pedro Rodriguez signed with Chelsea
Pedro Rodriguez signed with Chelsea, where he will wear the number 11. Jose Mourinho rushed to sign him and today the Spanish attacker had his first practice with the Premier League champions. And this Sunday, in their visit to West Bromwich Albion, the Portuguese coach is already considering making him debut.
Chelsea paid approximately 30 million euros (33.54 million dollars) for Pedro Rodriguez, of which three will be linked to his performance, said the Spanish champion on their website (www.fcbarcelona.es). And before his first training session with the London team, the Spanish attacker sent a message to the Blues fans.
"I am very happy to be here. I am very excited to start my adventure at Chelsea and I am here to continue winning titles," said Pedro Rodriguez on the club's website (www.chelseafc.com). "Thanks to the club and the fans for giving me the opportunity to wear the blue shirt," he said.
After his signing with Chelsea was made official, Barcelona, as well as many former teammates, expressed their best wishes to Pedro Rodriguez for his new stage with Jose Mourinho's team. How will the Spanish player fare in his adventure in the Premier League?
