Mayweather on Rousey: "I won't talk about her anymore"
It seemed like the back and forth between Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather would never end, but the boxer has decided to put the issue aside. That's why 'Money' stated that he won't talk about the UFC bantamweight champion anymore.
The decision came at an event attended by Floyd Mayweather. The boxer gave interviews to the media, but he became uncomfortable when he realized they were asking him more about his conflict with Ronda Rousey than about his upcoming fight against Andre Berto.
Floyd Mayweather tried to disguise his discomfort and preferred to send a positive message to Ronda Rousey. "Like I said before, I really didn't know much about her. I think she got mad because I said I didn't know her, but that was the truth at the time. Today I know who she is and I wish her nothing but the best and good luck with everything," said the boxer.
Thus, Floyd Mayweather hopes to focus the media's attention on his upcoming fight against Berto, which will take place on September 12th in Las Vegas. Despite starting as marketing, the problem with Ronda Rousey is now behind him.
