Mexican wrestler, Alberto del Río, and boxer, Jackie Nava, deliver a series of support for children who lost their parents in the earthquake of last September 19th.
"I love my country very much, I try to help with everything I have and you know that everything has been funded with the 'Patrón's' wallet, with Alberto del Río's wallet, with Jackie Nava's policy, by the DIF and all the institutions that have supported us. We will continue to support and hold events to help these people," said del Río.
In a press conference held at the Colegio Holandés facilities, the former WWE superstar and the 'Aztec Princess' provided financial, academic, and employment incentives in favor of seven children, who are being supported by the DIF and the institutions that have joined del Río and Nava's cause.
"When people see that you are doing things in favor of children, especially those who lost their parents in the earthquake, people join in, participate, organizations and institutions join in, the CMB joined, sports brands joined, and fellow deputies joined. It feels very good, it's something very special that I am proud of," said Jackie Nava.
In the same way, the Colegio Holandés, which joined this effort, awarded six scholarships that would cover the education of the affected children from elementary school to postgraduate studies.
It is also expected that one of the upcoming events for this cause will be a fight from Combate Americas, wrestling and boxing, which, in coordination with the City's government, could be held at the Arena CDMX.
