The match between Santiago Wanderers vs Melgar had many pauses, not to attend to a player inside the field, but due to a broken flag that couldn't stand up for too long. The only solution was to call a man with a hammer to try to put it back on the ground.

Not even two minutes of play had passed when Rafael Viotti scored the first goal for Santiago Wanderers. Chilean Matías Fernández went through the right wing, surpassed an opponent and crossed to the center so that the forward could push it and beat Diego Penny for the 1-0 of the Chilean club against Melgar in the Copa Libertadores.

Later on, Bernardo Cuesta defined well against Mauricio Viana to equalize momentarily in Valparaiso.
