Just a few hours before the transfer window closes, América is still in the game to get one more reinforcement. The sports president of the institution, Santiago Baños, revealed the intentions of the azulcremas for what is to come in the Liga MX.
In an interview with the 'SportsCenter' program of the international network 'ESPN', the manager of the 'Águilas' made it clear that they want to add a forward to officially close the squad.
At all times, Santiago Baños has been cautious about giving information related to the reinforcement of América. He preferred not to give names, nor how the negotiations are going with the potential player who would arrive.
"He is a center forward, just changed leagues and is a foreigner," revealed the representative of the azulcremas. "As of today, things are still open, in negotiations and we hope that it can still happen," he added.
"We have to wait until Wednesday, when the market closes," he pointed out, although he hinted that there could be surprises in América in the early hours of Tuesday, January 30. Who will be the next '9' for the Liga MX?
