The Santos Laguna women's team obtained their second victory of the Clausura 2018 of the Liga MX and first as visitors, after imposing themselves yesterday in León by a minimum difference.
Now, in their commitment of matchday 5 of the Clausura 2018 Tournament, the team led by Jorge Macías will receive Chivas next Monday at the Corona Stadium.
The only goal of the match was scored by Yahaira Flores, near the end of a game that was quite even and very contested, where the laguneras showed a better team play, against a rival with whom they shared victories in the previous tournament.
With this result, the albiverde team added their second victory in the competition, reaching six points in the tournament.
The victory has been considered historic in this matchday 4 of the Liga MX Femenil, as they obtained their first victory outside the Santos Modelo Territory, in addition to improving their football and being more efficient in defense and attack.
Yahaira Flores scored at minute 85', an outstanding finish after being one-on-one against goalkeeper Gabriela Herrera.
