Santos Laguna Women's Team Travels to León

Santos Laguna women's team traveled to León, Guanajuato on Wednesday night, where they will face the esmeralda team on Friday for matchweek 4 of Liga MX Femenil.

They will be looking for their second victory of the tournament, after losing to Tigres at Estadio Corona last Monday.

The midfielder Andrea Contreras, who is experiencing her first time with the Warriors, highlighted that the albiverde squad is confident in obtaining a positive result against the Panzas Verdes.

"We are ready, working hard and eager. León is a strong rival, who deserves respect. We are working and I'm sure we will get the result," she commented.

She emphasized the work of the coach Jorge Macías, who she identifies as an excellent trainer that provides support and everything a player needs, especially confidence and security to believe in oneself. "That is something I am infinitely grateful for and I have tried to reflect it in the matches," she added.

On the other hand, the forward Ana Arvizu, who has scored two goals in this Clausura 2018 Tournament, assured that the goals have come thanks to the work of the entire squad.

"I have felt very good because the goals are based on teamwork, on what we have been improving. Each one is giving one hundred percent to achieve results," she said.

Regarding what they must do to obtain a favorable result against León, she pointed out that above all they need to give their all in each play and keep moving forward in all aspects.
