Jose Mourinho, controversial at his core, criticized Eva Carneiro after Chelsea's 2-2 draw against Swansea at Stamford Bridge. The reason? Chelsea's doctor entered the field in the 92nd minute to attend to Eden Hazard, and 'Mou' was upset because the player had to leave the field, when they already had one less man after the expulsion of Thibaut Courtois.
"If a doctor jumps onto the field to help a player, he has to be clear if this player has a serious problem," explained Jose Mourinho at a press conference, directly blaming Eva Carneiro, who quickly entered the field to see what was happening to Eden Hazard.
"And I'm sure Hazard did not have a serious problem. He had a knock and was very tired. My medical department left me with eight outfield players on the counterattack and we were worried about not having enough players on the left," explained a very upset Jose Mourinho.
In response to this harsh criticism, Eva Carneiro responded on her Facebook account, and thanked people for their support after Jose Mourinho's words. "I would like to thank the public in general for their great support. Really very much appreciated," Carneiro wrote. Just another one from the great 'Mou'.
