The celebration that the Warriors had after being proclaimed NBA champions at 'The Q' put an end to the abstention from alcohol that Harrison Barnes had maintained throughout his first 23 years of life. Before the sixth and final game of the Finals, the forward had stated that if his team won the championship ring, he would be more than willing to break his no-alcohol policy. So once the victory was achieved, he had no choice but to 'break in' and enjoy the champagne of the celebration. "They have me," Barnes explained to 'Sports Illustrated'.

Someone who remained faithful to his zero tolerance conviction with alcohol was MVP Andre Iguodala. "They don't have me," proud 'Iggy' said despite the temptation that the party his teammates had prepared represented.
