Mexican Association for Children with Cancer IAP receives visit from Capitanes basketball team
The Mexican Association for Children with Cancer IAP received a visit from the Capitanes basketball team, who delivered over half a ton of food collected in their games, in addition to giving them a basketball board.
Accompanied by staff from DIF, the players toured the facilities to learn about the operation of the Association.
"Coming here and seeing you, seeing those stories of success, overcoming, and fighting, of a united family, makes us want to fight and be even stronger. As a team, we thank you because it will unite us even more", said Andrés Trujillo Villareal, Public Relations Manager of Capitanes de la Ciudad de México.
Last year, players and officials from the Professional American Football League (LFA) donated food to this same association collected in the season and postseason games and spent time with the girls and boys who also had the opportunity to attend the matches.
