The adventure of Arda Turan in Barcelona came to an end. This Saturday, the culé team announced through Twitter that the Turkish midfielder was leaving the Catalan club to join Estambul Basaksehir of his country for two and a half seasons. Faced with the lack of opportunities from Ernesto Valverde, the midfielder chose to breathe different air and distance himself from Camp Nou.
Although Arda Turan did not leave Spanish lands without taking the time to thank the house that welcomed him since July 2015. As you may remember, the former Atlético de Madrid player arrived from Diego Simeone's team.
"A dream doesn't come true through magic. As a dreamer, I know it requires courage, determination, and work. Being a Barcelona player was the wildest dream I had. I will always be proud of myself for making it happen. However, now it's time to say goodbye," Turan said on his official Instagram account.

Likewise, he expressed his happiness for having played with the best players in the world. "I would like to thank my teammates who helped me enjoy every moment (...) It was a privilege to be with all of you. To every fan who ever sang my name at Camp Nou, I loved every minute fighting for you," he added.
During his two and a half seasons with the 'Barza' shirt, Arda Turan played 55 official matches, scored 15 goals, and provided 11 assists. Hand in hand with Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde, he won the League, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup. Will you miss him?
