Herrera's coach ban
Former coach of the Mexican National Team, Miguel Herrera, will not be able to manage any team in the Liga MX until the end of the Apertura 2015 Tournament, as stated in the 2015-2016 Competition Regulations.
In the face of rumors of Herrera as a possible replacement for Ignacio Ambriz at América, if the Eagles' poor results continue (they started with two defeats), the regulations are clear.
Article 38, in its last paragraph, states:
"Members of the Technical Body, as well as the administrative or operational staff of a National Team, regardless of the category, who cease to provide their services to that national representative at any time during the Tournament, cannot be hired by any Club until the next Tournament."
Herrera was dismissed on July 28 after the incident he had with a TV Azteca commentator at the Philadelphia airport, when they returned to Mexico after being crowned in the Gold Cup.
Therefore, Herrera could take advantage of the rest of the year to rest before resuming his professional activity, at América or any other team in the Liga MX.
