The new coach of Watford FC, Quique Sanchez Flores, is "confident with his players" before their debut in the Premier League this Saturday against Everton at Goodison Park, despite Watford being one of the teams expected to fight against relegation to the Championship.
"I have real confidence in these players. It's a wonderful group and I've already seen how they are working every day. We will need to improve because we are a new group, but I think we are prepared to give our best", commented Sanchez Flores at a press conference.
The Spanish coach, who became the fifth coach of the club in a year when he joined two months ago, has overseen the arrival of up to ten new players.
In addition, local media reported on Thursday that another player is on his way to cover for goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis, who is suspended for the first matches against Everton and West Bromwich Albion.
