After 36 years, the Peruvian National Team will face a World Cup and the intention of the players is to compete on equal terms with the best. That's what national forward Raúl Ruidíaz said.
The 'Pulga' assured that he believes and is confident that the national team will perform well in Russia 2018 and reach the round of 16.

"Peru is destined for great things, that's why we qualified for the World Cup. I see Peru advancing to the round of 16, I have no doubt," said Ruidíaz on 'Fútbol Total' from Mexico.
The Monarcas Morelia forward is in a sublime moment in Mexican football and that's why he is filled with confidence to face his first World Cup.

Raúl Ruidíaz is currently a substitute for Ricardo Gareca, but due to the difficulties that captain forward Paolo Guerrero is going through, he could be a surprise and play as a starter in the Russia 2018 World Cup.
